for my children lets you create your own memory book of special places so your friends, your family, your children – and their children – can one day walk in your footsteps and relive them.

Its an app I wish my mother had before she died. It would have let her share those places that were special in her life. Her first school. First home. Favourite cafe. First job. That road where she first learnt to ride her bike. The old playground she played in as a child - which is now a block of flats. Places I would love to visit and stand today if I only knew where they were.

Memories are precious. Places are precious. With this app those memories need never be lost again. And, because you can add to your memory book any time, you can effortlessly build a lifetime of memories - your memories - for friends and loved ones to enjoy forever.

This version (1.0.2) lets you take or upload a photo, pin it on a map, add some text and a date and - if you want to add an extra personal touch - record some audio commentary to go with it. The app keeps your memories safely in a memory book which sits on your device. When you back up your phone, you back up your memory book.

Version 2.0 will allow you to securely upload your memories to an online version of your memory book and give invited friends and family access. Youll also be able to choose if you want any of your memories made public. After all, some of your special places might be special places for other people, too.
